Can't see any harm in joining in. No result, no cost.
I remember those directors. They should be bought to account for what they did. Hope they stand to loose personally. Leading investors up the garden path may be OK with ASIC, but there are more than two ways of skinning a cat.
I would encourage all holders to join the class action with glee.
