Solar Panels would disperse heat quickly because they are only wafer thin.
In fact a solar panel would stop tin & tile roofs from heating as there is a significant air gap between panels & roof, which would keep them cooler. There is way less "heat exhausting" from a roof space.
With the roof being denser material there would be retaining heat until later at night.
Dont believe me. Touch the underside of a tin roofed carport and the underside of a solar panel.
