double skinned roofs are incredible
One of my exploration vehicles had a double metal roof - top was steel, 25 mm gap and aluminium skin below.
In 45 or more in full sun in WA - you could always put your hand on the roof from the inside - it was warm on the hottest days.
And when the sun went down - the heat inside dissipated rapidly. Amazing really, just for 2 sheets of metal
