To run the DJPinComp program, you don't need to know the language. However, it will be there as a backdrop, ready when you are.

I guess it all depends on how much one wants to educate themselves to how advanced they need/want to go. I suppose if I had a job that needed that type of programming I would certainly pursue it, but I must admit I don't have the drive and motivation that I did when I was just a teenage fellow in high school.

He wont admit to 10, I think he regards himself as a 9, as there is always room for improvement. However, rounded to the nearest whole number, I still regard him as a 10

We actually had a discussion, involving me sending him an algorithm that I constructed for other intents, to help him use Hermite polynomials (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hermite_polynomials_ in software he was writing. Among other things, it had the ability to extract the very number people like h00ts would write into pictures, as an entry for the DJPinComp. At a guess, he would have moved on to an even better basis set, such as https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romanovski_polynomials.

That is the thing with computers, there is no way to know 100% of it, there is always something more to be learnt so I can understand his 9 and not a 10 statement.

He certainly has a great wrap sheet on that linked in page!

Those wiki pages certainly go over my head. Obviously like everything you learn it it becomes natural, but it is the case of learning.
