There is a difference between those who want a peaceful law abiding society and the minority who are termed white supremacists that want to incite hatred and violence towards anyone who does not meet their white supremacist inclinations. Those that spread hate that can result in men women and children being slaughtered for no other reason than their religion as occurred in NZ.

Decent people will condemn all terrorists just as they do the Muslim fundamentalist that misuse their religion and inflict harm to both Muslims and non Muslims . The same applies with white supremacists who incite hatred and/or commit violence towards others.

In terms of religious beliefs in Australia anyone can practice their version of religion provided it does not conflict with our democracies secular laws. Our laws are created by our elected representatives as should be the case and I see nothing that changes that. Our laws apply to everyone and in Australia and even a Cardinal can wind up in jail for convictions relative to our laws. Those that want to over-ride democracy and the rule of law by using indiscriminate violence are the real threat to our society and its good that our security agencies are working to identify those that want to do harm and bring them to account.
