The authorities tell us they have thwarted many potential terrorists acts through the scrutiny involved.
It follows that if there is no scrutiny the crimes would likely exponentially increase. Surely you would agree that anyone that expresses hate and incites violence should come to the attention of the authorities regardless who they are.
