In power generation only mode the water (not hydraulic oil) gets recycled (closed loop) to minimise filtering so no use for your proposal.
In desal mode the water is returned to the sea.
Part of the appeal of this tech. is that it deliberately avoids stuff like hydraulic oil flowing through the pipe where it could spill.
