Don't pretend that this policy isn't deeply unpopular in the LNP ranks, or that Labor having problems somehow means that the Liberal party never has internal issues. I dont think it will destroy the party, but a lot of conservatives certainly would have many reasons to oppose it.
I'm cool with Abbott's PPL personally (its better than no PPL is the way I see it), but don't pretend this is something an old Labor guy would get behind, because that is what was suggested.
