    The most recent ASIO report to Parliament reveals last year they had a staff of around 600. Budget of hundreds of millions.

    But more revealing in the present climate, are the number of agents from non-English speaking backgrounds, only six.

    It doesn't reveal how many are Arabic or Indonesian speakers. To penetrate a terrorist cell, fluent language skills are vital.
