They probably do think about it, for a second, but the standards of morality have fallen off a cliff recently. When the elected leader of a political party, - a lawmaker, - openly and unapologetically, - condones law-breaking, as Christime Milne did, then there are few standards left to debase.
The government's sneering ignorant, arrogant, anything-goes, methods of retaining power, means that morality does not come in to it. Its what you can get away with.
You only have to read some of the posts of the government supporters to realise how far we have come. Integrity, morality, have no meaning to most of them.
