I guess we had to hit a snag somewhere along the road - but it's really just another day in Malian politics. In the last eight months we've had a bloodless coup - one the people actually supported to oust a govt who had long fallen out of favour, and now a storm in a teacup coup that will be resolved this week imo, with the status quo pre the re-shuffle of cabinet restored, or at least the Colonials given high ranking face-saving roles in the government ranks. I imagine some statement of contrition by the civilian President and PM calling for calm as parliament is reconvened and the matter rhat caused the kerfuffle settled.
Meanwhile we continue to build a stellar operation at Morilla and finalise a lithium deal as the political dust storm settles once more over the good people of Mali.
