The financial burden on CWE would be very small when you consider that the French government will be chipping in 75% and the remaining cost will be shared between CWE and EDF.
It would not surprise me if CWE would want to sell their share at a later date. They have stated that their primary role should be as a technology company and not as a utility owner.
