The official language in Paraguay is Paraguayan Guarani. Jesuit priest Antonio Ruiz de Montoya, who wrote a book called Tesoro de la lengua guaraní ("The Treasure of the Guaraní Language"), described Guaraní as a language "so copious and elegant that it can compete with the most famous [of languages]."

Unfortunately, there are no translators for that on the internet, so the next best thing is Spanish which is also spoken.
So here is a brief rundown on appropriate phrases to use when next in Paraguay:
How much for a pound of Uranium? = ¿Cuánto para una libra de uranio?
Which way to the nearest reactor? = ¿qué manera al reactor más cercano?
Where can I hire a taxi to take me to the Yuty Uranium project? = ¿Dónde puedo emplear un taxi para llevarme al proyecto del uranio de Yuty?
What do you mean I can only hire a donkey? = ¿Qué usted me significa puede emplear solamente un burro?
;-)
Cheers,
