The total net shorted volume now would be very close to 150mil shares..
They are surely betting on the chance of making profit from a CR... Getting placement shares well below $4 to cover their shorted positions... See recent Myers CR for experience...
I must say shorters are very aggressive, nutty or gutty at the moment..
