Having an automotive industry background of nearly 3 decades now, thought I’d take a deeper look at Valeo and what they’ve got happening, being a prominent OEM electronic component supplier (ditto for Bosch)
Active & Passive safety systems have been one of the most notable innovations to become standard inclusions in vehicles I’ve noticed over this time, and this is one area where AI, particularly Akida, will shine IMO. The first image shows the components Valeo currently produces that end up in what we drive today, the 2 billion Euro R&D spend so far by Valeo is certainly a worthy commitment to bringing innovation to market
AI will become as common as Airbags and Antilock brakes and most likely sooner than later
