Hope you are right. But I am still very annoyed.
I know companies give bonuses, but it is usually because they have had a good and profitable year. For the size of this unproductive company surely it is uncalled for at this time. They are still using shareholders funds.
I think the reason it was done now is because of the low price - more shares - and with an announcement coming, the shares will, hopefully, go up. Smart move (more bang for their buck). A nice "pre-wedding" gift for someone in the office? If a positive announcement is around the corner and the shares move up again, would you call it inside trading? I dont know what are the rules for such. Maybe they already know the results and will hang onto it for a week or so. Make a note of this timing.
I try not to watch this site - not good for blood pressure. There were a lot of postings between visits so I think something must be in the wind!
