hi jelly, the way i se it is something like the buddhist approach.

what we experience is data as interpreted by our eyeballs, our nerves, our ear drums, etc that is then forwarded on electrically to our brain.

nobody knows in what fashion this data really exists, but suffice it to say that the movie "the matrix" might be closer to the truth than the truth.

in which case we as humans are pretty much like internet browsers, capable of producing wonderful experiences from the data with which we so choose to align ourselves with.

how else can scientific explanations for real phenomena change so radically over the centuries AND YET ALWAYS BE PROVEABLE?

in this scenario, people are capable of finding anything to suit the view they have taken. hence with the 911 scenario, it is possible to find all the data necessary to argue that those buildings could not physically be brought down in such a way by a couple of airplanes, and yet at the same time books have been published which manage to scientifically prove just that; that the same images which have been interpretted as evidence of controlled demolition can be used to prove the pancake collapse theory.

what a wonderful world we live in, we can ALL be right.
