At the moment CGNPC is laughing all the way to the bank 2.90 to 2.70 to 2.43, the first move thanks to the earthquake and the second move due to the British regulator. What a bargain (steal), and in their opinion (so far) definately worth the wait. During that wait there has been resource upgrades, improved strip ratios and a mining licence ! But are they expecting this will be the end game ? and who are the other strategic investors ?
I cannot help reverting back to Extract's continuous reference to 'others' as below. There has to be more moves to play on this chess board and if that's the case good for us. A 99% guarantee of $8.65 but plenty of upside.
