This anti bikie push has turned me into a Newman hater. Very dangerous development, jettisoning common law rights like freedom of assembly, and equality before the law.
If I were a bikie I would simply write a letter of resignation to the club and at the same time pledge an oath to a new secret society of coincidentally the same name. With a haircut, some tattoo removal and a nice suit I'd then carry on as before.
What is really worrying about this is that we have seen over the years legislation expand to target the rest of us, and this one will be no different.
