jessie i dont know if i am qualified to speak on behalf of whoever you are directing your comments at, but having been incorrectly accused of being one of them on more than one occasion, i think these "PCers" you love to talk about probably find it hard to distinguish such a subtle message beneath the overwhelming tirade of fear based stereotyping and sensationalist propaganda that we are forced to trudge through on a daily basis. i would like to think that you can appreciate the difference between considered compassion and antagonistic divisiveness.

just as many of you say that "moderates" should be seen to speak out against "radicals" in certain cultures, i put it to you that it would benefit your cause if you occasionally spoke out against some of the bigoted rubbish that gets posted regularly in these forums under the pretense of concern for the common good, just to distinguish yourself from people whose sole mandate is to end multiculturalism.
