Mowibble, I don't care if the people are white, black, green, orange or yellow. They are clearly taking the piss and exploiting our system. You are fully aware that i have a fondness for people from SE Asia, but I was just as strong in my opposition of a boatload of Vietnamese which arrived last week. Our quota is 20k/year and our government should be the one who decides who arrives, not the boat people/smugglers themselves.
On top of the fact that these people are exploiting our government/us. Our government is also encouraging this form of refugee while losing lives at the same time.
There are so many reasons as to why we should turn away "boat people".
