In the shopping isle, in the plane, at a taxi queue etc etc?
It has always fascinates me about how outgoing or insular people can be.
There are people you pass in the street every day that under the right circumstances you could easily chat and become comfortable or better friends with ... what holds many back?
I fly every week and pretty much always manage to strike up engaged conversations with fascinating people for the flight time ... recently a naturopath, a greek widow, a senior infrastructure development manager and many more.
Rarely any conversational knock backs.
Its quite uplifting really.
Anyone with similar or opposite outlooks?
