There have been a lot of problems created in this long market boom which need to be worked out by a boring sideways movement. It could be that this rally may be the biggest in the next 2 years........oh my god! However if the Chinese exchange rate, commodity shortages and US low savings are sorted out quickly, we may see a recovery quicker than is being forecast at present. During this sideways movement some great action must surely come from the NASDAQ where new technolgy is born. New technology is what the world is crying out for to solve some of the energy and commodity shortages. Computers solved the high labour costs of the 70's and technology will solve the energy crisis. As for commodity shortages, wastage has to come first, then innovation and substitution.
