Been investing/trading for over 40 years. I got lucky. Gained more than I lost, but at times I only did it as a past time as I was running my own business as well.
Some long termers pay good divvies, yes, but I also enjoy the odd short term trade.
It takes a long time to learn or superior intelligence (which I don't have) and a good portion of luck to make constant gains.
