Thanks for the feedback - I thoroughly enjoyed reading your take on the need for change. Indeed, your post approximates my own position on the constitution.
As a country of mostly decent & fair-minded people we deserve better leadership & a constitution that genuinely reflects who we are TODAY & which enables us to strive for a less limited future. Our constitution must make it crystal clear that we reject discriminatory, xenophobic & racially based notions & legalistic gremlins.
I long for the day when one of our pollies demonstrates real leadership that results in the transformation of Australia into a mature & significant nation. That should include the removal of the power of pollies to decide the PM & Opposition Leader, the GG & members of the High Court.
