Of course I was my usual tactful self when I suggested they put it in the Derwent instead.
They said there would be "up to" 500 construction jobs. But according to Wiki "The population in 2007 was 1,723.[2]". Somehow, I doubt that there are 500 qualified locals looking for jobs, so all they would have is a bloody great workers' camp, with the pub [not sure if they have one now] and an influx of prostitutes [doubt they have one of them either] making a motza.
