alarmingly correct - highly likely
the world needs to work out - it either wants free trade - or it does not
if it does - it needs to adjust to it, if it does not - it needs to adjust to it
right now - we have western politicians still saying that they want free trade
but, then, they talk about a level playing field and the tariffs and sanctions have been growing wildly --
not a happy ending - is probably understating it
from what I see - the USA in particular is becoming strongly isolationist - and the de-dollarisation is an unstoppable tide - although could be described as steady
personally, I couldn't care less about how the American economy goes for America - but, the dynamics of it and the rise of China and interestingly - the economic resilience of Russia and several other factors - heavily effect places like Australia
every time we've seen huge moves like this (as far as I know) it's resulted in major military conflict - if we have major military conflict in this era
it is not going to be pretty
