You cannot do an offmarket transfer when the company is under liquidation without ASIC/administrator approval. You can however, sell all your MBN shares for $0, to crystalise your complete capital loss. Delisted is the only ASIC broker approved for this purpose. MBN is in that list of saleable securities.

Personally, I find it an insult to have to pay $55 to give someone my shares for free, but if MBN is still not liquidated by this FY, I will have to do so.
