The loss of reputation was not caused by Glaucus. it was caused by BLA being opaque and believing themselves to be above any fair scrutiny. Without shorters many people would have lost alot more money due the general lack of ability and ethics of the former CEO. In the past months we have seen that shorting is a good thing to maintain the integrity of the market.
