What if the Chinese pathway to greener Aluminium doesn't just include the bauxite quality, but how the energy is produced to power the refineries. Most power stations in China are coal. From the recent Rick Smith video the media talks about phase 3 which includes a new refinery in Cameroon. Surely this will be powered by hydro or newly built gas turbines. They may off shore all of there production in the future.
