This is absolutely incorrect. i have lived overseas for a few years and I'm regularly in contact with individuals overseas. Australias reputation is that of beauty, common sense and wealth.
Americans suffer a great deal more than Australians in regards to the scams, so I'm not sure what you're on about with all the "soft target" bs. There were almost 120,000 cases of scams in Australia during 2018. The number blows past the million mark, for Americans.
