Australia's No # 1 Dairy and Food Company, Murray Goulburn (ASX:MGC), is being set up for its farmers' financial knackery!
Who's fault? How wrong you all are!
MG Dairy Farmers destroyed Murray Goulburn.
It was a Farmers' Board. A Farmers' Chairman and Deputy Chairman.
And then! In comes a non-dairy farmer with zero vested interest. He somehow convinced the farmer kids on the MGC Board that all was "lost". Sell out.
Yes, Murray Goulburn has been all but destroyed. Once Canadian Saputo lobbed its $1.3bn bid, the Board led by a non-dairy farmer took the easy way out.
But have dairy farmers seen the Proposal to revert to 100% Full Co-Operative Status? No. Zilch. Not even a paper clip.
Meantime: Spilt milk, yes. Crying in your beer in empty town pubs, yes.
Murray Goulburn was the most successful and financially viable farmers co-operative in Australia.
A 100% Full Co-Operative Status is the only way to go.
Dairy Farmers have the final vote. This time, don't waste it or, worse still, throw your vote down the farmyard drain.
