    My point is Abbott is still saying his negotiations were in good faith its just that he has realised it is now somehow "constitutionally unsound" to pair the speaker. Despite official advice from the Solicitor General that it is perfectly fine within the constitution.

    It is totally rediculous and everyone clearly knows his only reason is to make it as hard as possible to govern. Well sorry but most Australian's will not think that is in the national interest. They will not be impressed by an opposition that focuses on hamstringing the administration of government for 2-3 years.

    All of Abbott's talk about the need for cooperative government when the election outcome was still undecided. But now he has lost he thinks it doesn't matter anymore.
