    The anaology in the first post is terrible.

    Gillard can't promise to get all the legislation through a hung parliment - fact - nothing she can do about it but try to.

    Abbott on the other hand made this (signed) agreement that he can easily hold to, nothing at all stopping him. Furthermore he would DEFINITELY be following through with it if he was elected with a one or two vote majority. Total hypocracy - clearly not genuinely interested in stable governement (unless it is his own).

    This will backfire on him, mark my words. The only people happy about it will be the hardcore Lib voters that already voted for him. All the others will be furious about deliberately destabilising Government just for the sake of it. Most people (outside of hardcore Lib voters) care more about the country being able to operate effectively.
