The CCP is one of the greatest blights the world has ever seen, I wouldn't want them to go in to restore law and order in the Solomons because they would want their pound of flesh in return. Not sure if the Solomons has many raw materials useful for China but in real estate terms they certainly have position, position and position.
The Chinese people are mostly ok and it is wrong for the Solomon Islands people to take out their frustrations on the Chinese traders but don't let the CCP anywhere near the place.
