No one has defined exactly what they are using as a metric to state the current environment is out of control or a problem. They offer a series of anecdotes and one-liners crying foul whereas they have no idea what they are crying for..
Is it unemployment? Is it debt to GDP? Is it Interest rates? Is it percentage of the budget spent on welfare?
Before this topic can really be discussed, a multitude of factors needs to be established. If the two sides of the discussion can't agree on at least the terms of reference, there is no hope..
