As for the the gaff, the one good thing from the green's leader Adam Bandt was his response to the question on some economic number: Just google it. On Bandt's point that the campaign should be about ideas and philosophy not who can remember every economic number to 25 decimal places..
In my opinion the majors (liberal/labour/country) have little or no ideology except me, me, me and of course their hangers on. At least the independents and other minor parties at least have some layer of ideology.
PS: While endorsing the minors as having some layer of ideology, I'm not endorsing any/all of them. A couple of them I would only touch with a cattle prod set to max.
