We dont have a dictatorship (yet) despite the inference
    of that in your post.

Government is run by Cabinet consensus and
the PM/Deputy PM is elected by and can be changed
by the party room as evidenced by:
    Rudd-Gillard
    Gillard -Rudd
    Abbott-Turnbull
    Turnbull-Morrison
    Morrison-?

This is how our democracy works with legislation carried
by a majority in both houses.

Its interesting thart RW advocates concentrate on "Strong Man"
leadership rather than on policy & its subsequent transition
    into our laws.

Just imagine if our High Court Judges were elected/
judged on their "Strong Man/Dictatorial Characteristics" ?

(and dont mention the Shelias !)
