The money is given by the State, hence they can decide how it is spent.

Bit like when you visit a public hospital you can't choose your doctor. Bit like when you get social housing you can't choose which house you live in. Same sort of principal.

Its not about rich vs poor. That is socialist racist and offensive propaganda. Its about making sure the State is not wasting money providing cigarettes and alcohol to what you call the "under privileged". People are not useless and can achieve as long as they put in the effort. No one is trying to keep them down (except racist socialists); businesses want good high achieving workers.

Twiggy has done a lot for the Aboriginal people and has actually been proactive in helping them find employment and enriching their lives. Those Aboriginal people now have skills and can now be proud of themselves and hold their heads up high and have respect for themselves. They can also contribute to the good of society and how proud that must feel!

Welfare will never make any people proud of themselves or give any self respect and its certainly not a lifestyle choice. Smoking and alcohol will never improve anyone's life.
