Someone once described the Melbourne Cup as a time the upper class allow the masses to join them....on a restricted basis.

The market is no different, one rule for brokers and funds and one for the masses like us.

The market is so far removed from being a "fair" level playing field it isn't funny anymore.

Legal corruption in strong favour of brokers and funds at the expense of retail investors/traders is about all I can come up with to describe it.

The ASX role as market manager should be scrapped and handed to an independent board. The market should be level for ALL players, not the chosen few and especially not having private severs within metres of the ASX server. Pile of crock!
