In my opinion you might be underestimating OPT as an acquisition/partnering target. The trial results to date are encouraging but when coupled with looming patent expirations on existing big pharma treatments a very different level of value is unlocked.
Again, in my opinion, negotiations are occurring and I think OPT are in a commanding position at the table.
It is almost inconceivable that pharma with existing treatments in this space are not trying to lure Opthea - isn't it?
