Swine Flu may or may not be a flash in the pan, no one at this stage can accurately made that forecast. But we do know GSK has announced it is producing at full capacity and expects to produce 50-60 million doses of Relenza after about a 12-14 week period to reach full capacity.
BTA received $33.2 m last quarter royalties from GSK & this wouldn't have been full capacity for GSK, so BTA should be expecting royalties exceeding $132m over the next 12 months. These estimates are based on reported figures from BTA in their ASX announcements.
Posters guessing about how bad or not swine flu may become are not dealing with the facts.
Orders/production running at full capacity/ royalty payments, these are factual, not guesses.
My decision to own BTA shares is based on research regarding their ability to earn royalties plus LANI potential, not a guess about what might or might not happen with Swine Flu.
