Yep UBoy...the article lists the others including Pfizer, Abbvie, Bristol Myers as others with similar Patent cliff concerns that have each signed multi-billion dollar deals to reinforce their pipelines. There is probably a reluctance to commit to the regulatory scrutiny associated with a Multi-Billion dollar Mega-Deal, mid sized companies and emerging treatments that have passed trial phase are probably more realistically in scope than the ANPs of this world. I do think that the radio silence around finance is curious and an indicator that there could be partnership funding activity underway.
