should have let the russians control afghanistan - instead of helping the taliban. russia would have controlled the radicals . wow - where we sucked in. i remember watching 60 minutes once, and the taliban, or muhidajeen were portrayed as heroes, trying to free their country. let me think about it - the russians invaded afghanistan for some reason (forget now, and cannot be bothered to check it up) - and installed some guy, who woas friendly towards the russians. mmm - sounds like "operation freedom" or whatever it is called - where the yanks like to have a friendly government in iraq
