    my brother in law is one, I admit it I'm sorry.
    he does the usual spiel of 7% average the stock market moves up etc etc etc. What they dont tell you is coys come and go and disappear off the index they're measuring in that time. They are nothing but glorified salesmen of portfolios.
    They say don't try and time the market etc etc etc but when stocks are going down he says why sell now? it's too late you'll only have to time another entry in later so dont risk it, blah blah blah. Your cash preservation is not their aim, their aim is to keep their job and collect commission.
