I gather from your post-history that you have been interested or invested in TGM since at least 2018, as have I done from those 'Stonewall Resources' days. So I recognize you as one of the lone rangers here in these African bushes

I do not post too often, mostly when there is something useful or significant to tell imo. I bought some parcels from late 2018 to early 2019 and sold out these parcels in march 2020 with a nice profit. But I didn't lose sight of TGM.
On the last trading day in 2022 and in January 2023 I started collecting here again, around 7c. My last purchase a few days ago at 13.5c. You are very right: "The share price has been slowly and steadily creeping up just lately."

Perhaps there is a reason for this, that the shareholders here have overlooked or have already forgotten from co's announcements.
On 4 July 2023 co announced, it has raised A$5.0 million through a private placement, of that cornerstoned A$3.0 million froim Hong Kong Ruihua Investment Management at 6.5c.
Ann says: Ruihua is a wholly-owned subsidiary to its Nanjing based parent company Jiangsu Ruihua Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd (since 2003), a fund manager with over
US$3 billion AUM who specialises in equity markets，including secondary market trading, private placements, venture capital and private equity activities.
Use of funds raised from placement was among other things for > Funding required for a commercial bulk sample trial currently underway for the Frankfort mine.

This new position was the only one in this year and the third largest position with about 6.6 % of the top 10 holders, after Zenith (H.K.) Holding with about 7.5 % in 2022 and thereafter Fineway Creation Ltd in 2021 with about 12.7 % on the first place.
So I think this new position from those fund managers was done very well so far

On 19 July 2023 co announced:
- Drill and Blast operations have commenced at the Frankfort Gold Mine in support of the commercial bulk sampling program
- Theta Gold will receive immediate payment for the bulk sample post-treatment of the gold ore – processing of Frankfort ore is expected to be completed this quarter
- Following the processing of the gold ore at Barberton, Theta Gold will pursue permanent arrangements to accelerate the cash flow from the fully permitted Frankfort Mine

>> So all here on board, line the dots, fund manager know of incoming cash flow in this year for first time in TGM's history.
So it's not uncommon for them to get on board just in time.
And I don't think they will settle for just one bagger, but that's only the humble opinion of a small fish in this ocean.
Personally, I will try to add more shares at acceptable prices and maybe we will see again those sp's from dec 2020.
But take that not as advice, I only hope so and swim along those bigger fishes in the ocean.
