Anaconda was used to bash AF around the head for a year or more after he started FMG. Each story, - and there were dozens, - prefaced with 'failed entrepreneur' Andrew Forrest. Later that changed to 'billionaire Andrew Forrest'.

I'm at a loss to know why some people seem to hate what he has done. I don't care about it, but its a mystery to me. The only explanation I can think of is that most of the big merchant banks missed out on the once in a lifetime opportunity that he provided, and its sour grapes.

But nobody can take away that Fortescue has been the greatest success story ever in the history of the ASX, by a good margin.
