Hi Bill - My take? ...Hmmm!
I spent some time in the back blocks of China in 1987, travelling in the restricted areas in the North and North east. I was valued for my knowledge and it opened many doors. I met many wonderful people and learned a great deal about enterprise, survival, pride and "face".
Doing business in china can be extremely complex and at this time, more so than ever. I understand completely your concerns as a shareholder and suggest such concerns in the average ASX investor contribute significantly to the current low share price.
On the other hand - I believe UCM management has a complete and deep understanding of the forces at play and will be best served by us not conducting a blow by blow analysis of the situation in the Australian public media.
A phrase comes to my mind: "Softly, softly - catchee monkey!"
I have enough confidence in management to be a buyer at this time.
