well, same old story really.

Shorters selling something they don't own.

Lets face it, if you can sell something you don't own and someone else can buy something from you that doesn't exist - you can have what you call a market all by youself.

Now, god knows what happens when the real thing can't be bought - as you are finding because there are no sellers of the real thing.

I would be a seller ------- but at around $1700 oz ------- wonder how much people are prepared to pay for the real thing?

time to ditch spot I think - take it to auction like some other commodities.
