My stock analyser only uses ASX data and 69K shares traded which is 50% down on average volumes. If I take into account Chi-X volume, volume is up 100% on average volume. I had a look at other stocks BHP, ILU, LYC, MSB and today all of those stocks traded between 15 and 25% of their volume on Chi-X. Other small caps I am interested in have very small volumes of just a few hundred shares.
Interesting. Perhaps a sneaky move is on!
